VMs can't boot with Network Mode set to Bridged on Apple M5 Pro machines

Virtual machines cannot boot when using Bridged Network Mode on Apple's new M5 Pro machines, though they function normally with Host Only or Extended network modes. The issue affects UTM version 4.7.5 and occurs when the VM hangs on the loading screen immediately after launching, without producing a crash or debug log.
