Vite+ has entered beta as a unified web development toolchain that combines Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, and other essential tools into a single, consistent workflow accessible through commands like `vp dev`, `vp build`, and `vp test`. The platform aims to simplify developer experience by eliminating the need to assemble and configure separate tools for each project while maintaining compatibility with the broader Vite ecosystem. Since its alpha release, Vite+ has undergone significant improvements including smarter caching, better migration support, and enterprise features, with over 500 pull requests merged.
