Transit rewards (Waymo pays you to take the train)

Waymo is launching a transit rewards program in the San Francisco Bay Area that gives riders $2.85 in Waymo Cash when they use both a Waymo ride and public transit within two hours of each other via their Visa card. The program aims to encourage multimodal commuting by making the connection between autonomous vehicles and public transit seamless, with Waymo also leasing 40 parking spaces at Caltrain stations to facilitate easier transfers. The initiative will roll out to employees first before expanding to the general public in coming weeks, with plans to eventually extend to other cities.
