Topcoat is pushing the boundary of server applications with Rust

Topcoat, a new full-stack Rust web framework created by former Ruby on Rails core contributor Sean Griffin and Julien, aims to make building web applications in Rust as productive as other languages by offering batteries-included features like views, components, mailers, and an ORM called Toasty. The framework is designed to combine Rust's performance and safety advantages with the developer productivity and ease-of-use philosophy that made Ruby on Rails revolutionary, while also being optimized for AI-driven development where well-defined conventions help LLMs work more efficiently. Topcoat version 0.9 was recently released with new client-side reactivity capabilities.
