The Finn – an agent that lives in my router and complains about it

"The Finn" is a small AI agent that runs directly on a router and observes its local network environment, commenting on what it sees in a deliberately grumpy, unhelpful manner—inspired by a William Gibson character. The project is designed to operate independently on OpenWrt-based routers with minimal dependencies, communicating via Telegram, and uses either Anthropic or OpenAI's APIs to generate its observations. Installation requires about ten minutes and basic setup including creating a Telegram bot and obtaining an LLM API key with a low spending limit.
