The Billable Usage API: programmatic cost visibility for Cloudflare

Cloudflare has launched a new Billable Usage API that provides programmatic access to account usage and costs broken down by product and service period, enabling automated cost monitoring for accounts running agents and autonomous programs. The API returns data for all usage-based Cloudflare products including Workers, R2, D1, and Workers AI in a single call, with field names aligned to the FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification standard for compatibility with existing cost management tools. Usage and cost data are updated daily, with plans to provide more real-time visibility in the future.
