The Alaska Server

A defunct 2U rackmount server branded "Alaska" was recently discovered to have originated from Alaska Artic Power, a computer brand sold in Mexico and Latin America from 1998-2003 by companies Dinastía International and Mexmal Mayorista. The server, built using a Chenbro RM21200 chassis with Intel components, came from a company that achieved roughly $160 million in sales and 40% of Mexico's white box market before filing for bankruptcy in 2005.
