"Teach My Little Sister How to Drive" received a v1.2.9 update adding emotional facial expressions and hair customization options for the sister character. The developers acknowledged ongoing AI performance issues, including errors, slow responses, and unnatural dialogue, attributing them to heavy reliance on OpenAI's fallback model after their primary Google Gemini model hit usage limits due to increased player demand.
