A Taylor Farms Cyclospora outbreak has grown to 6,358 lab-confirmed cases across 15 states, with 278 hospitalizations and 2 deaths, according to a CDC update released August 5, 2026. The outbreak is linked to recalled Taylor Farms de Mexico iceberg lettuce distributed between June 29 and July 16, with six new states recently added to the affected list. Despite its size, this outbreak represents only 28% of the 22,723 confirmed and probable cyclosporiasis cases reported across the United States so far in 2026.
