Takeshi's Castle

Takeshi's Castle is a Japanese game show that aired from 1986 to 1990 on TBS, featuring comedian Takeshi Kitano as a count who challenges players with difficult physical tasks to reach him in his castle. The show became a cult hit worldwide and significantly influenced the development of physical challenge game shows and entertainment media globally. A revival special was broadcast in 2005 for TBS's 50th anniversary.
