Show HN: NSL – WSL for Linux

NSL (NSpawn Subsystem for Linux) is a new tool that provides Linux hosts with persistent virtual Linux machines similar to Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), allowing users to run multiple distributions as systemd-nspawn containers. Each machine maintains access to the user's files and home directory while offering isolation options, and supports seven signed Linux distributions including Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Arch that are rebuilt and verified weekly. The tool runs as a regular user without requiring host-level package installations or permission changes, and is currently in pre-release with v0.4.0 as the first release of its new design.
