Show HN: KiviDB, a faster Redis-compatible memory database and vector cache
KiviDB is a Rust-based, Redis-compatible in-memory database that achieves significantly higher performance than Redis and competitors like Dragonfly, serving 21 million pipelined requests per second on 32 cores with lower latency. It maintains protocol compatibility with Redis clients while adding built-in full-text and vector search capabilities, optional Lua scripting, and TLS support through a sharded, multi-threaded architecture. The project is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license and runs on port 6380 by default, allowing it to coexist with Redis installations.
