Show HN: Foremerge – Catch Intent Conflicts Between Parallel Coding Agents

Foremerge is an open-source coordination protocol that allows multiple AI coding agents to work in parallel on the same project while detecting intent conflicts that Git cannot catch. Rather than relying on text-based file comparisons, agents share their intended changes and semantic claims before committing, enabling the system to identify situations where separate edits are individually correct but functionally incompatible—such as one agent refactoring a service while another adds features to the old version. The tool is currently available as a pre-1.0 MVP that can be installed into Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor with a single command.
