Romania soccer introduces black card to 'combat abusive behaviour' from parents

The Romanian Football Federation has introduced a black card that allows referees to permanently cancel youth matches if parents or spectators display abusive behavior. The measure follows a three-step process: temporary suspension with coach intervention, a 10-minute suspension, and finally match abandonment if misconduct continues. This makes Romania the first football federation to implement such a disciplinary tool specifically targeting fan and parent behavior at youth games.
