RIP, vector database

This shift allows turbopuffer to support more diverse query types and scale beyond its original specialized focus on vector search, while leveraging object storage and tiered caching for performance. The company is documenting this transition publicly, starting with explaining the evolution from its initial single-vector-ID design through subsequent versions.
