Residential Proxies Are a National Security Threat

US residential proxies—which route traffic through hijacked home internet connections—pose a significant national security threat by enabling social media manipulation, malware distribution, foreign influence campaigns, and botnet attacks while remaining nearly impossible for internet services to block without cutting off legitimate users.
