ReFrame – The EPaper Camera

reFrame is an experimental camera featuring a six-color ePaper display that shows one deliberate photo at a time, with each image taking 15 seconds to appear in a dithered style reminiscent of newspaper halftones and retro video games. The open-source device, built with off-the-shelf components like a Raspberry Pi and eInk display, functions as a desk photo frame when not in use, with images persisting on screen until a new photo is taken. While currently available as a DIY build via GitHub, the creator plans to offer individual orders in the future.
