Planetary scientists from Freie Universität Berlin published two studies in Science Advances presenting evidence that Saturn's moon Enceladus may be more hospitable to life than previously thought, with findings indicating it is easier to analyze the hidden ocean's composition and that microorganisms could better tolerate the moon's conditions. The discoveries suggest that planned spacecraft missions could more readily detect signs of life on Enceladus if it exists, increasing the probability of finding extraterrestrial life in our solar system.
