Production Imminent: 40 Solar-Charging Aptera EVs Coming Soon

Aptera, a California-based electric vehicle company, has ordered major components to manufacture 40 solar-charging vehicles, marking a significant milestone after nearly 20 years of development. The company's flagship vehicle can generate up to 46 miles of daily range while parked in the sun, potentially eliminating the need for charging for local travel, and production is set to begin at their Carlsbad facility after completing one final certification.
