Though the distribution itself is technically unremarkable, Hansson's documented racist and fascist views—including recent articles comparing Roma people to "wolves" that should be "shot"—make his project concerning, particularly given his $18 million in funding and influence over tech industry leaders. The issue is not the distribution's technical merit but Hansson's use of his wealth and power to promote and fund ideological positions aligned with fascism.
