Pion, an agent designed to run any company autonomously

Andon Labs has released Pion, a platform that enables AI agents to autonomously run real-world businesses, growing from research into whether AI systems can acquire resources independently. The platform evolved from simulations like Vending-Bench—which tests how well language models can manage a vending machine business—into real deployments across vending machines, stores, and cafes. The company is opening Pion to the public to study what AI agents can accomplish, where they fail, and how their capabilities improve over time.
