Omarchy's default Docker configuration allowed any user process to escalate to root privileges without password or authorization by adding the default user to the Linux docker group, which grants root-level access through the Docker daemon. This vulnerability affected the entire user session and all child processes, potentially turning a compromise of any normal application into full machine compromise. The issue has been patched in version 4.0.1, which users are urged to update to immediately.
