Nvidia Nemotron 3.5 lightning and Nemo Switchyard

Nvidia has released Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, a 30-billion-parameter open model optimized for autonomous agent systems that delivers up to 4x faster output speed and 30% faster task completion compared to competing models in its class. The company also introduced NeMo Switchyard, an open-source library that intelligently routes requests to the most suitable model across a mix of open, proprietary, and Nvidia models without requiring code rewrites. Together, these tools give enterprises greater control over deploying and customizing AI across various environments while addressing the shift from chatbots toward always-on autonomous agents.
