Nitter has more working instances than before the takedowns

Despite recent takedowns of several Nitter instances (Twitter/X alternative frontends), the project now has more working instances than before, with approximately 975 instances documented across working, rate-limited, and formerly active categories. The wiki page lists numerous active Nitter instances still operational, along with guidance for those wanting to run public instances, including advice on obtaining session tokens and addressing legal concerns. Several instances have been taken down, but new ones continue to emerge to replace them.
