MathKernel: An evidence-aware multi-engine mathematics kernel and MCP server

MathKernel is a multi-engine mathematics system available as both a Python library and MCP server that enables applications and LLMs to perform advanced mathematics while tracking assumptions, provenance, and evidence. It divides labor between the LLM (interpreting intent) and the kernel (establishing mathematical evidence with explicit trust levels, engine tags, and derivation trails). The system treats different types of mathematical claims—such as exact computation, symbolic results, and formal proofs—as distinct, preventing the loss of approximate-input ancestry and ensuring reliable mathematical results.
