The settlement caps years of litigation and public scrutiny over internal Meta documents revealing its products worsened body-image issues and mental health problems for teen users, despite CEO Mark Zuckerberg's repeated dismissals of these concerns. Some states, including Florida, rejected the settlement and indicated they intend to pursue further legal action against the company.
