Loupe – A iOS app that raises awareness about what native apps can see

Loupe is a free iOS app that demonstrates what data native apps can access from your device without permission, including device fingerprinting signals like locale, time zone, and screen settings that trackers use to identify you across apps. The app organizes these data points into three tiers based on access difficulty—passive (no prompt needed), permission-requiring, and advanced side-channel techniques—and keeps all readings local to your device. Loupe was built almost entirely by AI coding tools and is open source under the MIT License.
