AsDecided is a tool that enables coding agents to follow engineering decisions stored as Markdown files in a repository, using a native Rust engine that retrieves relevant decisions deterministically without requiring embeddings, model calls, or hosted services. The platform validates requirements, designs, and roadmaps through its engine and serves this information to agents via MCP (Model Context Protocol), ensuring consistent answers from the same repository state. It can be installed via Homebrew, Cargo, or Scoop, and is maintained as an open-source Apache-2.0 project that keeps all decision data local to users' git repositories.
