Linux From Scratch (LFS) is a project that provides step-by-step instructions for building a custom Linux system entirely from source code. The organization includes several subprojects: LFS (the main book), BLFS (extensions for customization), ALFS (automation tools), MLFS (32-bit support), GLFS (gaming software), SLFS (supplemental additions), plus Hints, Patches, and other resources to help users build and enhance their systems.
