Let's Encrypt is adding two additional remote perspectives for domain validation

Let's Encrypt is adding two new remote perspectives for domain validation, increasing the total validation requests from five to seven to comply with Baseline Requirements effective December 15, 2026. This change enhances security by making it harder for attackers to hijack validation requests and provides better protection against BGP attacks. Staging testing will begin October 27th, 2026, with production rollout expected November 10th, 2026.
