Kitesurf: Agent-first browser that runs in V8 isolates

Cloudflare has announced Kitesurf, a new lightweight browser specifically designed for AI agents rather than humans, which runs on its Workers platform. Traditional browsers like Chromium were built with human needs in mind and consume excessive resources for AI applications, so Kitesurf prioritizes efficiency metrics like token count and cost while sacrificing features like tabs, extensions, and pixel-perfect rendering that are unnecessary for agents. The browser is now available for free in beta through Cloudflare's Browser Run product.
