Jailbreaking the Switch 2

NS2JB is a software-only jailbreak for the Nintendo Switch 2 running firmware 23.0.1, enabling users to run arbitrary native code as sysmodules for homebrew development, game modding, save file backup, and hardware access. The exploit leverages a WebKit vulnerability discovered through a custom Wi-Fi captive portal to achieve initial code execution, marking the first known jailbreak for the Switch 2. Developers demonstrated its capabilities by modding the Switch 2 exclusive Mario Kart World with custom characters and gameplay modifications.
