I built a 10 inch mini rack from aluminium extrusions

The author built a custom 10-inch mini rack from aluminum extrusions to organize six small 1L PCs and their power supplies, inspired by a trend popularized by Jeff Geerling. Rather than purchasing expensive prebuilt racks or 3D-printed components, they used standardized aluminum bars with grooves and cage nuts to construct the frame, then mounted custom-cut aluminum sheets as shelves. While the DIY approach was cost-effective and provides good airflow, the author found that 1mm aluminum plates bend slightly under weight and the cable management could be improved with more vertical space.
