Hyundai has acquired full ownership of Boston Dynamics for $325 million by purchasing SoftBank's remaining stake, giving the automaker complete control of a leading humanoid robotics company. Atlas, Boston Dynamics' electric humanoid robot, is expected to begin production work at Hyundai's Georgia electric vehicle plant by 2028, starting with parts sequencing tasks.
