Hulios: An eBPF-powered, transparent Tor gateway for Linux
Hulios is an eBPF-powered, transparent Tor gateway for Linux that routes TCP traffic and DNS queries through an embedded Tor client to anonymize network activity at the kernel level. It employs a security-hardened architecture with privilege separation, sandboxing, and a fail-secure kill-switch that blocks outgoing traffic if the daemon crashes to prevent IP leaks. The tool requires Linux kernel 5.10 or higher with specific BPF and cgroup configurations enabled, and is currently available for Arch Linux and Debian systems.
