GrapheneOS' rewritten Messages app is released

GrapheneOS released version 13 of its rewritten Messages app, which replaces the legacy interface with Jetpack Compose and Material 3 design. The update includes a rebuilt user interface with two-pane conversation layout for large screens, new conversation controls like pinning and snoozing, improved message handling, and fixes for crashes, notifications, and security issues. The app now features enhanced attachment handling, a redesigned media picker, and better support for SMS and MMS messaging with new organizational tools.
