Google Has Removed MV2 Extensions from the Chrome Web Store, Including UBO

Google has completed its removal of all Manifest V2 extensions from the Chrome Web Store, including the popular ad-blocker uBlock Origin, marking the final step in transitioning to the newer Manifest V3 standard. While existing MV2 extensions will continue to function on Chrome 138 and earlier, they can no longer receive updates or be reinstalled. In response, Brave browser has begun hosting four popular MV2 extensions, including uBlock Origin, on its own platform to keep them accessible to its users.
