Google ending ChromeOS support two years early

Google is ending ChromeOS support two years earlier than promised, reducing the support window from ten years to eight years for Chromebooks purchased today, with updates ending in 2034. The company is introducing Googlebook OS as the replacement for ChromeOS, though migration paths for existing Chromebook users do not yet exist and will require new licenses for management tools.
