GitHub Actions experienced a significant outage on August 6, 2026, causing workflow runs to fail or be delayed and Actions API requests to return errors. Engineers identified the source of the disruption and worked toward mitigation, with some customers also experiencing unexpected rate limiting and GitHub Pages degraded performance during the incident.
