Google announced Gemini 4 Argon, a new frontier AI model designed for complex professional tasks with an industry-leading 1 million token limit, excelling at software engineering, legal and financial work, and cybersecurity. The model is currently rolling out to trusted cyber defenders through the Fairwind Program with plans for wider public release after safety testing and government coordination. Argon will be priced at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, and is already being used internally at Google to improve coding tasks, research, and engineering productivity.
