French CII's Mitra-15 in SIMH. Work in Progress

A developer is creating a preliminary simulator for the Mitra-15, a French 16-bit minicomputer from the early 1970s, within the SIMH emulation framework to preserve this historically important but now undocumented system. The project, still in progress, includes instruction decoding and emulation of various I/O devices, though complete functionality and testing remain incomplete due to limited surviving documentation. This preservation effort aims to maintain knowledge of the Mitra-15, which was once widely used in France for industrial automation, scientific computing, and telecommunications but has been largely forgotten.
