Fastmail offers EU data region
Fastmail now offers users the option to store their email data primarily in the European Union on servers in Amsterdam, instead of exclusively in the US as previously required. The company built its own infrastructure in Amsterdam to the same standards as its existing US facilities, with encrypted data storage and geographic redundancy to ensure reliability and security. EU-region accounts will have their primary data copy in Amsterdam with backup replicas in the US, while US-region accounts will continue to have both primary and backup copies in US locations.
