Fable 5.1 World Modeling
PhiloLabs has created Fable 5.1, a project that reconstructs real-world locations like Union Square in San Francisco as explorable, browser-native 3D environments built entirely with code and open data. Every building, storefront, and street element is procedurally generated from OpenStreetMap data and public imagery using autonomous Claude agents, then validated against real photographs before being shipped as lightweight Three.js applications. The Union Square reconstruction includes 453 buildings, 129 named storefronts, interactive interiors for Apple and Nintendo stores, and simulated pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
