F.02 Decommission

Figure AI decommissioned its F.02 robot fleet by training them to autonomously jump into molten steel at a foundry in Finland, with help from Arnold Schwarzenegger. The company chose this unconventional disposal method to protect proprietary hardware without the time-intensive process of manual disassembly, which would have delayed the launch of F.04. The resulting metal from the melted robots is being machined into limited-edition commemorative artifacts.
