Ex-Crips leader found guilty in 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur

Former Crips gang leader Duane "Keffe D" Davis has been found guilty of orchestrating the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur in a Las Vegas drive-by shooting, marking the first conviction in a cold case that remained unsolved for nearly 30 years. Prosecutors argued that although Davis did not fire the fatal shots, he ordered the killing and supplied the weapon used by his nephew as retaliation after a fight between Shakur and Anderson. The 63-year-old Davis was convicted of murder with a deadly weapon and stated he would appeal the verdict.
