Every Mac comes with an (undocumented) family member classifier
Every Mac since macOS 13 (2022) runs undocumented daemons that build a personal knowledge graph by analyzing data from Contacts, Calendar, Photos, Messages, Mail, location history, and behavioral signals to create detailed profiles of users and their relationships. This graph is queryable and reportedly used by Apple Intelligence's language models, yet Apple provides minimal official documentation about how the system works or what data it collects and infers. The discovery highlights a significant privacy consideration as users are largely unaware of this on-device profiling system.
