EuroHPC Launches 6 Quantum Calls with €119M in Funding

The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking has launched six quantum technology calls with €119 million in total funding to advance quantum computing development and infrastructure in Europe. Two of the major calls target trapped-ion and superconducting quantum platforms, each seeking to develop full-stack quantum computers with over 1,000 qubits integrated with classical computing systems and cloud accessibility. The initiatives aim to establish European standards, build supply chains, and accelerate practical quantum applications across the continent.
