Docker Sandboxes – Disposable, isolated sandboxes for AI agents

Docker Sandboxes is a new tool that provides isolated, disposable microVM environments for AI agents to safely execute tasks like installing packages, modifying configurations, and running Docker containers without affecting the host system. The sandboxes offer customizable network and filesystem controls, support multiple coding agents (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, and others), and can be enforced organization-wide through Docker AI Governance. This allows AI agents autonomy to work efficiently while maintaining security boundaries between the agent environment and the host system.
