Coop – Isolated VM Environments for Running Claude Code and Codex

Coop is a Rust CLI tool developed by Trail of Bits that creates isolated virtual machine environments for running Claude Code and Codex with full tool access (Docker, git, compilers, etc.) without risking the host machine. Each VM is disposable, reproducible, and inexpensive to create and destroy, with support for macOS (Apple Silicon) and Linux platforms. Users can install it via a provided script or build from source, then initialize VM templates and launch agent CLIs to work on projects.
