Code-native generation of highly programmable 3D assets (2026)
Nova3D is a system that generates 3D assets as executable Blender source code rather than opaque meshes, enabling programmable objects with named parts, assembly hierarchies, constraints, and articulated joints. Evaluated on 54 benchmark items, Nova3D successfully produces valid executable programs for all items while satisfying 51/52 numeric constraints and exposing native joints—capabilities where existing mesh-native and CAD baselines fail entirely. The approach transforms generated 3D objects from static surfaces into editable, measurable, and animatable assets suitable for interactive 3D applications.
